Hi, I know I am far behind teh schedule. Trying to collect data for my evaluation now. Hard to get enough students in my classroom who is current doing the evaluated online course. I am opening my eyes widely now, staring every student steps into the classroom and trying to find more potencial participants for my plan... Have got 3 feedback from current students, 3 from former students and 4 from facilitators. Plan to get at least 5 for each group.. Fingers crossed...
Now I am filing the data and trying to get more feedback.. Hopefully it wont be too long...

ReplyDeleteGood to see your plans and questionnaires. I know as you mentioned its hard to get the sample - I had difficulty getting hold of the students as well, but managed to get a few.
Regarding your questionnaire, you also have used the 5 scale option , and it seems through my experience that the nuetral -option does not really help us to make much conclusion, but since its already done just leave it as it is, and may be next time when we do evaluation we can make look into it.
Overall it seems to be looking great - looking forward to see the results for unit 2791 - it is one of the units that students seems to struggle with at times , so lets see how the results are.

ReplyDeleteI did think about using 4 or 5 scaler. But you know sometimes students maybe not sure whether they agree or disagree...
You are right the neutual option maybe wont help that much. Actually only a few netural have been ticked. Most of students chose agree or disagree.
I am collecting the data and trying to process them now. Lots of work to do :-(
